Post Four: Brainstorm for the Myth/Legend/Fairytale Project (2/25/2020)

I think I want to do my project on a legend like the Black-Eyed Children or a Fairytale like Cinderella where the storyline would be fitting to modern times too. I want to try and include some sort of thriller element into it, kind of like taking the fairytale version of stories and putting the Brothers Grimm twist on it. The Black Eyed Children is already a “horror-based” legend so that shouldn’t be too difficult to include some kind of horror thing in it. It’s definitely going to be challenging to put all elements I want to put in to the story into a limited amount of pages and still stay true to the original theme and plot line without creating an entirely new story. I’m mostly worried about the limit to the pages and the time that I have to create a decent outline with all of the things I want to include within the story without it also becoming too much or messy to read.
